The latest Most Powerful Women Asia list places established executives, founders and newcomers at the center of the region’s business landscape. The 100 women featured represent 14 markets and are described as leaders shaping industries, companies and markets across Asia and beyond.
DBS chief retains the top position
DBS Group CEO Tan Su Shan remains at No. 1 on this year’s list. Her continued position at the top underscores the presence of financial services leadership among Asia’s most influential business figures.
The biggest move belongs to Lens Technology founder Zhou Qunfei, who climbed 25 places to reach No. 3. Her rise is the most significant jump in the latest ranking.
New entrants broaden the ranking
Nearly one-quarter of the 100 women are newcomers. That level of turnover adds a fresh group of leaders to a ranking that spans multiple economies and industries across the region.
Technology leads industry representation
Technology accounts for the largest share of the list, with 16 women. Banking follows with 14. The ranking’s industry mix reflects Asia’s strength in hardware, electronics and advanced manufacturing, while also highlighting the importance of financial services.
